I am renting an apartment and my landlord is foreclosing on the property. What is your advice?
I pay $1650 a month. From the beginning, my landlord has been pretty shady. He has me deposit the rent in his savings account. He is foreclosing on 4 properties and I think he is being charged with embezzlement. I am worried that I will not get my security deposit back and I found out he hasn’t paid mortgage on the place for about 4 months. Any advice?

Bespreking aan een goede onroerende goederenadvocaat over wat gebeurt en ziet of kunt u sommige antwoorden krijgen deze manier. Ook bespreking aan de politie over de situatie.

Als de eigenaar op u zal moeten wordt verhinderd uw veiligheidsstorting beschermen. Ook zeker ben wanneer u uw huurbetaling verricht het met een controle is.
U kunt nochtans als u zeer ongemakkelijke plaats uw huur op een borgrekening voelen dat voor betaling moet worden gehouden.
Maar spreek het over met een onroerende goederenprocureur

You probably will not get your deposit back. You can sue him for it but if he has already foreclosed on 4 other properties then he probably does not have any money (his or yours). I doubt it would be worth the court fees to try.
It is best to cut your losses and move on. That guy is a loser.
