Call the Attorney General’s office, 800 number and ask for the information on Tenant Rights. They can quote you your rights or send you a pamphlet about them. Also they may have a net site on your right in that same dept of State Govt. Some new owners will only buy a property without tenants, the Landlord is subject to his lease with you, (read it) and State Laws.

Its not going to “ruin” your chance, but it will raise eyebrows and cause for a larger security deposit. No one can deny you housing based on a foreclosure. It would be against fair housing rules.

Ik had een verhindering van een scheiding en kon nog een flat krijgen. Voorbereidingen getroffen om eerste month' te betalen; s huur en om het even welke toepassingsprijs die zij hebben gehad, maar u zou nog moeten kunnen krijgen zolang u momenteel werkt.

If she’s severely episodic, you can try for a forced committment. They’re usually short unless she continues to be a threat to herself or others. The purpose would be to get her on meds and hopefully to a state of rationality that might process what you say about her needing meds. If the stay is too short, that won’t happen so the strategy is a bit of a coin toss. Unfortunately, until she recognizes the illness and that she needs meds, there’s probably not a lot you can do. Sorry, it’s an insidious illness that can take over your thinking during episodes, and when you’re feeling normal, denial is too easy.
