Landlord showing apartment after sold?
I have given my 30 days notice, and have complied with the landlord in showing the apartment. I know that the apartment has been taken off the market (because I know the person renting the unit after me). Is it OK for the landlord to still show my apartment to prospective tenants for other units? I was in the apartment during a showing when one of the people asked “so the other unit looks just like this?” Or is this excessive use of the right to enter my apartment?
I am in California, where the landlord has the right to enter with 24 hours notice as long as it is not “abused” — so please no answers saying that it is trespassing if the landlord enters without my consent.
Thanks!
To answer one of the questions: the landlord is showing my apartment because I live in a building with mainly undergraduate students (I am a Ph.D. student), and I keep the apartment clean and have nice furniture and equipment.

Hmmm… I don’t think that’s illegal or what-not, but it’s just poor taste on the landlord’s part. You still technically live there. He should be showing prospective tenants the actual apartments they will be living in. Maybe ask him why he’s showing YOUR apartment?

he cant enter without 24 hr notice, but you can always put him off, and when he shows without notice tell him no, tell him youll call him and dont, make any excuse, since your leavin anyway….

Mientras el propietario dé notice..he/she puede entrar por cualquier razón.
