If my apartment management company sells the building to another company, is that an arbitration of the lease?
I’m a California resident and don’t agree with some crazy policy the new management has created regarding fumigation (once a week for the next month). What can I do to object this activity?

if you do not have to pay for it, NOTHING; it is for YOUR benefit.
selling the bldg has nothing to do with your lease.

when some body has a lease with a company the company sells the lease as well as the bldg to the new owner. so the lease is unaffected because in a sense the value is not just the property it is also the rent that property collects…

A policy change is NOT a change to your lease and is legal.
They may have a stubborn bug problem in another unit and they are trying to keep it from getting worse. Once the initial treatments are done then the exterminators should only have to come every few months for general maintenance.
Would you rather they ignored any possible bug problem?
This should only be a temporary inconvenience. Is that really worth pitching a fit over and starting a bad relationship with the new owners?
