How long does it usually take for an apartment to get sold?
My roommate and I are graduating, moving out of the city and our apartment in May. Since early March, realtors have been showing the place to potential tenants, which I have to admit, I didn’t particularly mind. We cleaned the place, and when they’d call me, I’d throw some music on, play video games, waiting for them to arrive, then show them around. Figured it’d be a snap, my roomie sold his last place in two days, and it was an overpriced sh—hole. Our current place is nice and quite a value, if I do say so myself.
It’s been a month. My phone is ringing off the (figurative) hook with realtors trying to show the place at all hours, and those are just the ones that bother calling before showing up. I have no guaranteed privacy anymore. I can’t sleep in and my roomie can’t take baths. (And don’t even mention “getting lucky”.)
So, we’ve been at this a month, and the deadline is June. Does it usually take this long? What’s normal? How much longer do we need to live like a museum exhibit

Taking in mind the current real state conditions, I’d say it’s going to take a long while

well normally a couple weeks to few months. In today’s market things are not too well for sellers. it is DEFINITELY a buyers market. So, it is completely unpredictable as to how long your house will stay on the market. It really depends on area, condition of the apartment and building– and sometimes neighbors, and how well your house is priced.

right now the real estate market is not so good in the U.S, and if you want to sell your house it shouldn’t be really costly, maybe you’ll get lucky and get a lucky buyer to buy it in the next 2 week.
